Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity has recently been challenged under the most extreme conditions so far, and emerged victorious. A pulsar and a white-dwarf were recently discovered orbiting each other, providing a unique arena to test gravitational theories. Though some of the scientists expected the theory to fail, the findings were consistent with what Einstein had laid out in 1915.
